Moving in

You can start a new invitation from several places in the Keyhole Portal.

The easiest way is to click the green icon in the top-right corner. The icon is available on every page in the portal.

If the tenant does not pay the deposit, the security deposit account will not become active.

It is the landlord's responsibility to make sure that the deposit has been paid and registered before the tenant gets access to the property. Both you and the tenant will receive confirmation from Keyhole when the payment has been registered.

If the deposit has not been paid by the agreed move-in date, you must decide whether the move-in should be postponed or how the situation should otherwise be handled in dialogue with the tenant.

No. The tenant does not necessarily need BankID to use Keyhole.

Tenants without BankID can use alternative identification methods, depending on the solution being used.

Create an account and register your tenancy in the Keyhole Portal.

Once the tenancy has been created, you can invite the tenant to set up a security deposit account or apply for a deposit guarantee. You can also order a credit check of prospective tenants before entering into a tenancy agreement, provided that the tenant has given their consent.
