What Keyhole handles in the Qasa journey
Once a rental agreement is signed through Qasa in Norway, Keyhole supports the financial processes connected to it. The exact setup and terms are defined by the agreement.
Rent payments
Payments connected to the agreement
Keyhole supports the invoicing and payment infrastructure used in the Qasa flow, keeping all rent payments connected to the relevant rental agreement.
Deposit security
Security set up for the tenancy
Based on the approved setup, the rental agreement is connected to either a blocked deposit account or a deposit guarantee (opens in a new tab) provided through Keyhole.
Rent Guarantee
Cover under defined terms
Rent Guarantee supports the landlord if agreed rent is not paid, within the amount, coverage period and conditions defined in the applicable Qasa terms (opens in a new tab).
Landlord insurance
Insurance provided by Tryg
The Qasa setup includes landlord insurance provided by Tryg. Coverage, exclusions and claims are governed by the relevant insurance policy documents.
LANDLORD INSURANCE
Protection beyond rent and deposit
Landlord insurance is included through Qasa.
Provided by Tryg, the insurance covers specified losses and damage that may occur during the tenancy. Coverage, limits, exclusions and the claims process are described in the relevant policy documents.

Once a rental agreement is signed through Qasa in Norway, Keyhole supports the financial processes connected to it. This includes the payment infrastructure and, depending on the approved setup, either a blocked deposit account or a deposit guarantee.
Keyhole also supports the processes connected to Rent Guarantee and the landlord insurance provided by Tryg.
Qasa invoices the tenant on behalf of the landlord. Keyhole supports the payment infrastructure that connects the invoice, incoming payment and payout to the relevant rental agreement.
Payment dates, invoice details and instructions for international payments are available through Qasa.
The required assessment determines whether the agreement is connected to a deposit guarantee or a blocked deposit account. The solution that applies is then connected to the rental agreement through Keyhole.
Eligibility, available options and the process are defined by the applicable Qasa terms.
Some Qasa agreements require verification to determine whether a deposit guarantee can be offered or a blocked deposit account is required.
Keyhole may ask for relevant identity and financial information as part of this assessment and the associated onboarding process. The result does not remove the tenant’s responsibility for rent, damage or valid claims.
Rent Guarantee supports the landlord if agreed rent is not paid while the tenant is living in the property. It applies within the amount, coverage period and conditions defined in the applicable terms.
The guarantee does not replace the tenant’s obligation to pay the rent.
Landlord insurance is provided by Tryg and included when the rental agreement is signed through Qasa. The exact coverage, limits, exclusions and claims process are governed by the applicable policy documents.
There is nothing preventing NAV from paying the deposit on your behalf. Once you have created your Keyhole Secure deposit account, you can share the necessary account details and documentation directly with your NAV caseworker through the onboarding flow.
Follow the steps in the setup process to get everything you need. Remember to also follow up with your NAV caseworker to make sure the payment is processed and sent to the correct deposit account.
