Disposable income is what you have left each month after paying fixed expenses, such as rent, loans and insurance.

Why it matters: It shows whether you can afford the rent and meet your obligations as a tenant. It is part of the assessment when you apply for Keyhole Guarantee, based on the guidelines of the Danish Financial Supervisory Authority (Finanstilsynet).

How we assess it: We look at your income and fixed expenses, as well as any debt and your credit assessment.

If your disposable income is too low: It may be difficult to be approved. You can improve it by increasing your income, reducing your expenses or paying down debt. You can also consider adding a guarantor, or get guidance from a financial adviser or debt counsellor.
