A time-limited guarantee automatically expires at the end of the guarantee period.
An ongoing guarantee cannot be cancelled by the tenant. It is terminated by the landlord when the tenancy ends and the final settlement has been completed.
You can also choose to replace the guarantee with a cash deposit by contacting your landlord.
