Keyhole Guarantee
How the guarantee works, changes during the tenancy, payments and refunds.
An alternative to a cash deposit.
A cash deposit can tie up a significant amount of money when moving into a new home. Keyhole Guarantee offers an alternative when the landlord chooses to offer it and the tenant’s application is approved.
Instead of paying the full deposit amount upfront, the tenant pays a premium for the guarantee. The cost depends on the type of guarantee selected by the landlord. The tenant remains responsible for paying rent and covering any damages or other costs they are liable for under the tenancy agreement.
