No. Keyhole Guarantee is not insurance, but a deposit guarantee that is used instead of a cash deposit.

Instead of tying up the full deposit in a security deposit account when you move in, you pay a smaller amount, either monthly or as a one-time premium. Your landlord receives the same financial security as with a regular deposit.

The guarantee does not release you from paying the final settlement. You are still responsible for rent, damage and other claims under the tenancy agreement. If Keyhole pays a claim to your landlord on your behalf, you must repay the amount.
