All applications are assessed individually. We only offer guarantees to private individuals with a Norwegian national identity number or D number.

To be eligible for a deposit guarantee, the following basic requirements must be met:

  • You must be 18 years or older.
  • You must not have any registered payment remarks.
  • You must be a Norwegian citizen, or have had a permanent income and residence in Norway for at least 12 months.

Meeting the basic requirements does not necessarily mean that the guarantee will be approved. All applications go through an individual credit and risk assessment. In some cases, we may request additional documentation before we can complete the application.

Note: Applications from people with a shorter connection to Norway may in some cases be assessed individually, provided that they can document income in Sweden or Denmark for the past 12 months and do not have any payment remarks in that country.
