If NAV is paying all or part of your deposit, select Deposit paid by NAV when you start the security deposit onboarding.
You will then be asked to provide:
- Your NAV office
- The name of your caseworker
- The email address of your caseworker
Once you have submitted this information, Keyhole reviews it and shares the relevant information with your caseworker. This normally takes 1 to 2 business days. When the review is complete, a security deposit account agreement with payment information is sent to NAV, which can then make the payment.
Good to know: When NAV finances all or part of the deposit, NAV has a security interest in the amount they have paid, including any interest earned. This follows from the agreement between NAV and the tenant.
