All applications are assessed individually. To be eligible for a deposit guarantee, the following basic requirements must be met:
- The tenant must be 18 years or older.
- The tenant must not have any registered payment remarks.
- The tenant must be a Norwegian citizen, or have had a permanent income and residence in Norway for at least 12 months.
Meeting the basic requirements does not necessarily mean that the guarantee will be approved. All applications go through an individual credit and risk assessment. In some cases, we may request additional documentation before the application can be fully processed.
Note: Applications from people with a shorter connection to Norway may in some cases be assessed individually, provided that the tenant can document income in Sweden or Denmark for the past 12 months and does not have any payment remarks in that country.
